Together is always better.
The Duke family and the Davis family have been spending the past few years learning and growing as bee keepers here on the Eastern Shore. In beekeeping you learn quickly that there is no such thing as guaranteed success. However, a few challenges along the way helped us to discover that beekeeping and bee conservation are more than hobbies for us. We truly love what working with bees has done to bring our families closer together. We have bought kid suits because our kids wanted to join in on the fun. We have bought spare suits so that friends could suit up and learn about how bees operate. We have seen honey harvesting become an event where the whole family joins in to help. So, in 2024 we decided to share this blessing we have experienced with the broader community around us. This means that if you want to throw on a bee suit, check out a bee hive, chat about bees, or get some honey; we would love to help if we can.
